Youth Trauma Mental Health Specialist
Job Description
Assess mental-health content concerning young people who have experienced abuse.
What you will do
• Develop and review case scenarios reflecting youth abuse and its psychological effects.
• Evaluate generated guidance for clinical accuracy, ethical soundness and sensitivity.
• Create trauma-informed care content and identify important gaps.
• Refine materials through clinical review and document improvements supporting safety and privacy.
Required background
• Specialist capability in evaluating trauma-related mental-health material for young people.
Preferred background
• A psychology PhD or an MD with completed psychiatry residency.
• Extensive clinical practice focused primarily or exclusively on young abuse survivors.
• Expertise in trauma-informed interventions.
• Current clinical work with most working time dedicated to abuse survivors.
• Strong privacy, safeguarding and professional-ethics practice.
Availability
• Remote work; agree the assignment schedule before starting.
Pay and engagement
$105–$210/hr
