Voice and Speech Analyst
Job Description
Describe how voices sound and how recordings were made, using precise language useful for speech-model evaluation.
What you will do
• Analyze delivery, accent or dialect where identifiable, apparent voice qualities and the audible characteristics of the speaker.
• Describe resonance, phonation, pitch, intonation, breath support, rhythm, pace and articulation.
• Assess emotional expression and differences between scripted, conversational and spontaneous speech.
• Comment on room acoustics, microphone or device characteristics and recording quality.
• Write structured, confidential reports that separate confident observations from uncertain judgments.
Preferred background
• Experience in voice acting, voice/dialect coaching, vocal teaching or related practice.
• Knowledge of phonetics, prosody and vocal technique; sound-engineering experience is useful.
• English at B2 or higher, precise written explanations, reliable internet and good headphones.
• Native speakers of any language are welcome.

Pay and engagement
$32 • $74/hr
USD hourly compensation. The applicable rate and agreed work scope are confirmed before work begins.
