Statistics and Experimentation Specialist
Job Description
Develop statistical evaluation cases that test experimental reasoning and valid causal conclusions.
What you will do
• Create cases from study design through analysis and interpretation.
• Explain the statistical basis for each modeling choice.
• Assess method validity and interpretation, identifying rigorous-looking analyses that make unsupported inferences.
Required background
• An advanced qualification in statistics, biostatistics or a closely related quantitative field.
• At least two years of applied statistical or experimentation work.
• Depth in experiment design, causal inference or A/B testing.
• R or Python fluency for analysis.
• At least 10 hours available weekly.
Preferred background
• A PhD in statistics, biostatistics or econometrics.
• Large-scale experimentation-platform experience.
• Bayesian analysis, instrumental variables, synthetic controls or other advanced causal methods.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous; at least 10 hours of availability each week, with working times arranged independently.
Pay and engagement
$84–$158/hr
