Special Education Teacher
Job Description
Create special-education cases and assess whether AI guidance is both compliant and useful for the student. Explain how individual needs inform instruction, accommodations and support.
What you will do
• Write scenarios from evaluation through IEP implementation.
• Develop reference answers explaining instructional and legal decisions.
• Assess compliance, suitability and the likely educational value of a response.
• Flag advice that meets the surface wording of a rule but fails to support the learner.
Required background
• A special-education licence, certification or equivalent credential.
• At least two years teaching in special-education settings.
• Experience with IEPs, accommodations and differentiated instruction.
• Clear written English and availability for at least 10 hours per week.
Preferred background
• Depth in autism, learning disabilities or emotional/behavioural needs.
• Behaviour-intervention or crisis-prevention training.
• Collaborative teaching or inclusive-classroom experience.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous; minimum 10 hours weekly.
Pay and engagement
$42 • $74/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
