Your contribution
Join IXO as a learner in recorded, one-to-one Spanish sessions. The aim is to capture authentic learning interactions: asking for clarification, attempting an answer, responding to feedback and continuing a conversation at your present level. You do not need to perform as a fluent tutor.
During each session
• Participate in the assigned lesson and topic with an experienced Spanish tutor.
• Practice speaking and listening, answer questions in real time and ask natural follow-up questions.
• Follow the lesson structure while keeping the conversation substantive and responsive.
• Adapt when the tutor changes an exercise, prompt or topic.
• Stay focused and avoid prolonged silence or unrelated discussion.
• Attend agreed appointments punctually and contribute consistently throughout the recording.
Eligibility
You must be an active Spanish learner, a native English speaker and hold a bachelor's degree or higher. At least one year of Spanish learning is required; formal classes, tutoring, structured self-study and comparable learning routes are acceptable.
You should understand basic-to-intermediate Spanish grammar and vocabulary, communicate clearly, and be willing to speak even while developing your skills. Reliable availability, comfort with live tutor interaction and willingness to participate in recorded online lessons are important. No particular profession or cultural background is required.
Session format and compensation
Sessions run for at least 20 minutes, generally 20–30 minutes. Planning is approximately seven hours per week over three weeks; IXO will confirm the actual session schedule and scope before participation.
Pay is $35 • $42/hr (USD). Recording details and permitted use will be explained before you agree to participate. Deliverables are the completed recorded learning sessions, not polished scripts or claims of fluency.
Keep examples suitable for the exercise. Do not disclose private personal records, confidential work information or another person's data during a lesson or in your application.
