Develop sociology assessments that another educator can apply and score consistently.
Responsibilities
• Write measurable tasks grounded in sociological concepts and current research.
• Align detailed rubrics to learning aims using Bloom’s taxonomy and other suitable frameworks.
• Review educational material for rigor, clarity and academic integrity.
• Document the rationale and refine tasks after peer feedback.
Experience and eligibility
A PhD or ABD in sociology or a closely related discipline is preferred, alongside an active postsecondary teaching and research/publication record. Assessment-design practice, pedagogical knowledge, literature synthesis and constructive peer review are valuable.
Deliverables and pay
Deliverables are teaching assessments, aligned rubrics, literature-supported rationales and reviewed revisions. Scope, schedule and review criteria will be agreed with IXO before work begins.
Pay is $55 • $95/hr in USD. Work is remote.
