Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Apply software engineering judgment to difficult coding problems and AI-generated solutions.
What you will do
• Assess generated code for correctness, maintainability and design quality.
• Create challenging engineering problems, reference implementations and tests.
• Review reasoning about debugging, architecture and system design.
• Write specific technical feedback that explains the error and a stronger approach.
Preferred background
• At least one year as a software engineer at a leading technology company, with some of that experience during the past 7 years.
• Residence in an English-speaking country.
• Clear written explanations of engineering decisions.
Location and eligibility
• Remote; an English-speaking-country location is preferred rather than a mandatory residence condition.
Availability
• Hours and duration are agreed before work; no fixed commitment is stated.
Pay and engagement
$258 • $294/hr
USD hourly compensation. The applicable rate and agreed work scope are confirmed before work begins.
