Senior Computational Research Scientist
Job Description
Develop advanced formal-methods and computational-science problems and assess AI reasoning against expert solutions.
What you will do
• Construct realistic mathematical or scientific problem sets.
• Write reference solutions and clear grading criteria.
• Evaluate correctness, depth and the quality of domain-specific reasoning.
Required background
• A PhD or equivalent doctorate and at least ten years of relevant experience.
• Current or recent hands-on scientific or formal-methods work.
• Strong technical writing and the ability to work independently and asynchronously.
Preferred background
• Peer-reviewed publications, open-source contributions or other recognized technical work.
• Experience assessing research, code, teaching work or technical writing.
• Expertise in Lean/Coq, computational biology/genomics, condensed-matter physics or quantum physics.
Availability
• Remote work; agree the assignment schedule before starting.
Pay and engagement
$105–$179/hr
