Define how IXO evaluates the preservation of an actor’s performance in generated character imagery. Focus on emotional timing and the small facial and physical choices that make the performance recognizable.
Responsibilities
• Develop criteria for emotional accuracy, physical fidelity and performance continuity.
• Critique existing evaluation methods and identify where they miss meaningful acting choices.
• Curate straightforward and difficult performance examples for benchmarking.
• Define the expertise mix and scoring guidance required by human reviewers.
• Explain micro-expressions and motion details precisely enough for captions and evaluation templates.
Background
You need four or more years of hands-on character animation and verifiable credits on at least two feature films, animated features or AAA game cinematics from recognized studios. Direct facial animation or performance-capture work is required: for example facial keyframes, motion-capture solving and cleanup, motion editing or performance-rig technical design.
Character performance must be your core craft. Photography, lighting, color, compositing, editing, general 3D, layout, previs, environments or effects do not qualify on their own. You must be comfortable using AI tools to generate visual test material. Access to a 4K display is helpful rather than compulsory.
Deliverables and pay
Outputs are performance criteria, curated examples, reviewer-profile recommendations and precise visual critiques. IXO will agree the scope, schedule and review criteria before work begins.
Pay is $65 • $95/hr in USD. Work is remote.
