Job Description
The securities and commodities markets are complex, fast-moving arenas demanding precise knowledge of trading mechanics and strict regulatory adherence. As a Securities & Commodities Agent, you will be instrumental in training AI to navigate these markets, from understanding trading strategies to ensuring compliance, making it a reliable tool for market participants and regulators alike.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive training datasets on securities trading, including equity, fixed income, and derivatives markets.
Create scenarios and provide expert evaluations on commodity markets, covering futures, options, and physical trading.
Evaluate AI outputs related to market microstructure, order types, and execution strategies.
Assess AI's understanding of regulatory compliance for securities and commodities (e.g., SEC, CFTC rules, FINRA, NFA).
Identify and correct factual inaccuracies or misinterpretations in AI's analysis of market data, trading patterns, and risk factors.
Refine AI's capacity to explain complex trading concepts and regulatory requirements to various audiences.
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed securities broker, commodities trader, or compliance officer.
Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (or equivalent) licenses are required; Series 3 for commodities is a plus.
Deep understanding of market mechanics, trading platforms, and order management systems.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing securities (e.g., Securities Act of 1933, Exchange Act of 1934) and commodities (e.g., CEA).
Experience with market data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon).
