Secure Software Task Engineer
Job Description
Create and improve code tasks that test debugging, vulnerability analysis and secure implementation.
What you will do
• Find and resolve bugs and vulnerabilities in varied codebases.
• Implement features and refactor older code to improve security, speed and maintainability.
• Perform code audits, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments within the assigned environment.
• Improve backend behavior and document findings and mitigations for evaluation datasets.
Preferred background
• Expertise in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C+• or TypeScript.
• Complex debugging and backend development, with strong algorithms and refactoring skills.
• Cybersecurity practice in pentesting, audits or vulnerability assessment.
• Knowledge of secure development lifecycles and current threats, with clear technical communication.
• AI or data-oriented work is useful but optional.
Location and eligibility
• Remote work; country restrictions are not stated.
Availability
• Approximately 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Accepted-task specifications, minimum submissions and start timing are agreed before work.
