Job Description
The effectiveness of search engines and AI-powered information retrieval hinges on delivering highly relevant and accurate results. As a Search Quality Evaluator, you will play a crucial role in refining AI's understanding of user intent, ensuring that search outputs are not only accurate but also perfectly aligned with what users are truly looking for.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of AI-generated search results for a wide variety of queries.
Assess how well AI understands user intent, including implied meaning, local context, and query nuances.
Rate the quality of individual search snippets, web pages, and other information sources presented by AI.
Provide detailed feedback and justifications for ratings, identifying instances where AI fails to meet user expectations.
Identify and flag issues such as low-quality content, spam, misinformation, or inappropriate results in AI search outputs.
Contribute to the refinement of search algorithms by highlighting patterns in successful and unsuccessful AI responses.
Ideal Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of information retrieval principles.
Excellent critical thinking and judgment, with the ability to interpret complex queries and evaluate diverse content.
Proficiency in conducting efficient and effective web searches using various techniques.
Broad general knowledge and intellectual curiosity across a wide range of topics.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex, evolving guidelines consistently.
Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) or digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
