Reliability and Quality Analysis Author
Job Description
Write engineering-analysis problems for IXO that test practical statistical judgment. Use reliability, quality, process or test experience to develop defensible solutions and diagnose misleading analyses.
What you will do
• Create exercises on designed experiments, process-control methods and reliability or failure datasets.
• Develop complete solutions and explain the engineering and statistical reasoning.
• Identify analytical errors that require practical experience to recognize.
Required background
• A degree in engineering, physics or statistics.
• At least three years of full-time reliability, quality, process or test work; internships and study are excluded.
• Applied experience with experimental design, statistical process control or reliability methods.
• Ability to use Minitab, JMP, Python or R.
• Strong written English, clear explanations and at least 10 hours of weekly availability.
Preferred background
• A master’s degree in engineering or statistics.
• Experience with process capability, measurement-system studies, lifetime data or uncertainty analysis.
Location and eligibility
• The role concerns physical-product and engineering analysis, not software engineering or site reliability engineering.
Availability
• Remote, asynchronous work with at least 10 hours available each week. Arrange your own working times; agree the volume of work before starting.
