Commercial Litigation Drafting Attorney
Job Description
Draft successive responses in simulated commercial disputes while maintaining a consistent case theory. The work covers contract, shareholder or LLC, and commercial real-estate disputes using public or invented fact patterns.
What you will do
• Prepare motions, briefs, demand letters and discovery material in response to an evolving dispute.
• React to simulated opposing-counsel arguments and explain the strategic purpose of each draft.
• Write assessment criteria identifying the elements of a strong response.
• Incorporate senior feedback and flag missing facts or procedural uncertainty.
Preferred background
• US attorney admission, active or lapsed, and at least three years of substantive post-JD litigation drafting.
• Experience in contract breach, performance, interpretation or damages; shareholder/LLC fiduciary, oppression, buyout and governance disputes; or commercial-property leases, development, zoning and financing disputes.
• Ability to produce review-ready litigation documents under direction.
• Firm experience, federal commercial litigation or legal-AI evaluation.
Location and eligibility
• Contract and commercial-property exercises require US residence; shareholder/LLC exercises draw on US legal expertise without a stated residence restriction.
Pay and engagement
$105/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
