Production AI Agent Practitioner Study
Job Description
IXO is inviting experienced practitioners to a paid research conversation about practical knowledge of building and operating production AI agents. Explain decisions from your own experience, the evidence behind them and the practical limits of the approach.
Work you will do
• Discuss systems you have personally helped build, focusing on how they use tools, maintain state and recover from failures.
• Explain engineering trade-offs, evaluation choices and difficult cases using concrete, legally shareable examples.
• Contribute a focused live research conversation; this is a paid interview engagement rather than an ongoing development assignment.
Required background and routes
• Direct experience shipping and operating production LLM agents, with firsthand knowledge of reliability, evaluation and adoption inside an organization.
• Relevant experience includes persistent/scheduled agents, internal assistants, shared memory, MCP/tool interfaces, reusable skills and observation of usage or costs. Discuss only experience you are authorized to share.
Deliverables
A completed practitioner conversation with concrete, authorized examples and clear explanations of the trade-offs.
Location and schedule
The paid conversation is planned for approximately 30 minutes. It is a one-time study contribution; application screening is separate.
Pay and working terms
$105 • $510/conversation USD. This is the fee for the completed paid conversation, not an hourly engineering rate. Scope and the exact fee are agreed in advance.
