Product Analytics and Experimentation Specialist
Job Description
Author realistic product-analysis problems and work them through to defensible answers. Use product-team experience to expose mistakes in experimentation, metrics, retention and growth analysis.
What you will do
• Create cases based on product decisions and the evidence needed to resolve them.
• Explain every analytical step in the reference solution.
• Assess experimental conclusions and identify plausible but invalid interpretations.
• Check metric definitions and assumptions affecting retention, growth or lifetime value.
Required background
• At least three years of full-time work as a product-team data scientist or product analyst; internships and time in education do not count.
• Hands-on design or analysis of A/B tests.
• Strong SQL, Python and applied-statistics skills.
• Clear written English and availability for at least 10 hours per week.
Preferred background
• A quantitative master’s degree.
• Experience defining product metrics or modelling retention and lifetime value.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous; minimum 10 hours per week.
Pay and engagement
$121/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
