Precision Medicine Data Lead
Job Description
Precision medicine is revolutionizing healthcare by tailoring treatments to individual genetic and molecular profiles. As a Precision Medicine Data Lead, your deep expertise in genomics and pharmacogenomics will be pivotal in training AI to interpret complex biological data, personalize therapeutic strategies, and unlock the full potential of individualized care.
Key Responsibilities
Create highly specialized training data on genomic medicine, pharmacogenomics, transcriptomics, and personalized treatment approaches for various diseases.
Develop detailed explanations of genetic testing methodologies (e.g., whole-exome sequencing, targeted panels), variant interpretation (e.g., ACMG guidelines), and clinical utility.
Craft scenarios involving patient cases where genetic information guides drug selection, dosage adjustments, or risk stratification for specific conditions (e.g., oncology, cardiology).
Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for precision medicine interventions, ensuring accuracy, ethical considerations, and adherence to current guidelines.
Provide expert feedback on AI's ability to integrate multi-omics data, identify actionable biomarkers, and explain complex genetic concepts to clinicians and patients.
Stay abreast of the latest research, clinical trials, and regulatory approvals in precision medicine and gene therapies.
Ideal Qualifications
PhD in Genomics, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or MD with a strong research background in precision medicine.
Minimum 5 years of experience in genomic data analysis, clinical genomics, or pharmacogenomics research/practice.
Expertise in variant calling, interpretation, and evaluation tools (e.g., ANNOVAR, ClinVar, IGV).
Proficiency in programming languages for genomic data analysis (e.g., Python, R) and bioinformatics pipelines.
Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomic medicine.
Exceptional ability to articulate complex genetic and molecular concepts clearly and accurately.
