Job Description
Create physics questions that test conceptual reasoning and verify the quality of their solutions.
What you will do
• Write questions from undergraduate through advanced physics.
• Check solution validity and calibrate difficulty toward reasoning rather than calculation alone.
• Evaluate model responses and explain improvements to scientific rigor and clarity.
Required background
• A completed master’s or PhD in physics or a related subject such as astronomy, astrophysics or engineering physics.
• At least two years in research, teaching or applied physics.
• Strong analysis and the ability to explain complex physical concepts.
Preferred background
• Scientific publications, curriculum design or technical writing.
• Breadth in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics and quantum mechanics.
• Interdisciplinary work or AI/ML exposure.
Availability
• Remote work with flexible hours.
Pay and engagement
$69/hr
