Pharmacology and Drug Development Specialist
Job Description
Evaluate pharmaceutical content and evidence about drug development, clinical research and safety.
What you will do
• Review drug information for scientific and clinical accuracy, including indications, contraindications, adverse effects, safety and efficacy.
• Apply pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and mechanisms of action to practical scenarios.
• Evaluate clinical-research and development materials and explain data-based conclusions.
• Perform structured annotation, evaluation and quality review with documented reasoning.
Required background
• Ability to apply pharmaceutical expertise to structured evidence review and explain conclusions clearly.
Preferred background
• A PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent advanced qualification in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, pharmacology, clinical pharmacology or a related field.
• Experience in drug development, clinical research, pharmacology or pharmacovigilance.
• Knowledge of safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics and drug mechanisms.
• Experience interpreting clinical/pharmaceutical data and scientific literature.
• Strong analysis and written communication.
Availability
• Remote work; agree the assignment schedule before starting.
Pay and engagement
$84–$300/hr
