Patent Prosecution and Claim Evaluation
Job Description
Develop patent-prosecution scenarios from prior-art analysis to claims and office-action responses. Assess technical accuracy and claim quality, identify drafting weaknesses and document the legal and technical reasoning behind improved work.
Professional background
You must be registered with the USPTO as a patent agent or attorney and have at least two years in prosecution. Bring practical claim drafting, prior-art analysis and office-action response experience, with clear technical/legal English and ten hours weekly. Advanced technical study, work across technology areas and mentoring junior drafters are preferred.
Working arrangements
This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.
Pay
$95 • $160/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
