Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst
Job Description
The backbone of modern business is its network, and securing it is non-negotiable. As a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst, you will train AI to understand the complex tapestry of network defenses, ensuring it can provide expert guidance on hardening infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI outputs related to firewall rule configuration, network segmentation strategies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Assess the accuracy of AI-generated recommendations for securing various network protocols (e.g., DNS, BGP, SNMP) and services.
Provide detailed feedback on AI's understanding of network topologies, VPN implementations, and secure remote access solutions.
Develop benchmark scenarios for AI to analyze, covering topics like DDoS mitigation, secure Wi-Fi deployments (WPA3, 802.1X), and NAC.
Validate AI's explanations of common network attack vectors (e.g., Man-in-the-Middle, ARP spoofing, port scanning) and their countermeasures.
Refine AI's ability to interpret network traffic analysis (e.g., Wireshark captures) and identify suspicious activity.
Ideal Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, infrastructure hardening, or security architecture.
Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point).
Proficiency with network monitoring tools, vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS), and SIEM integration.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and secure network design principles.
Experience with Linux/Unix command line and scripting for network automation/analysis.
