Job Description
The intricate world of medical affairs and scientific exchange demands a nuanced understanding that only an expert can provide. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be instrumental in teaching AI to navigate the complexities of scientific communication, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, and the ethical considerations within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated responses and summaries related to medical affairs strategies, including scientific narrative development and evidence generation.
Develop high-quality training data on KOL identification, engagement best practices, and advisory board planning.
Assess AI's ability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical data for scientific presentations and medical education materials.
Provide expert feedback on AI outputs concerning regulatory guidelines (e.g., PhRMA, IFPMA codes) for scientific exchange and promotional activities.
Create realistic scenarios for AI to simulate scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and address unsolicited medical information requests.
Refine AI's understanding of pharmacovigilance, adverse event reporting, and risk-benefit communication in drug development.
Ideal Qualifications
PharmD, Ph.D., or MD in a relevant life science or medical discipline.
2• years of experience as an MSL or in a medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Deep understanding of clinical trial design, statistical analysis, and scientific publication processes.
Exceptional scientific communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
Familiarity with medical compliance, regulatory environments, and ethical guidelines governing medical affairs.
Proven ability to critically evaluate and synthesize scientific literature across various therapeutic areas.
