Modified Gravity and Cosmological Dynamics Evaluator
Job Description
This IXO role evaluates advanced arguments where geometric formalism, differential equations and physical interpretation must remain consistent. Work covers dynamical Chern–Simons gravity, Palatini methods, FRW cosmology and quadratic-inflation settings.
Work you will do
• Derive or inspect first-order Palatini calculations using tetrads and spin connections.
• Evaluate Pontryagin-density terms and explain their consequences within the proposed modified-gravity model.
• Formulate and solve Friedmann equations with torsion, checking the treatment of coupled nonlinear dynamics.
• Integrate nonlinear ODE systems, assess the reliability of the solution and maintain consistent Planck-unit normalization.
Preferred background
• PhD-level or equivalent background in gravitation, cosmology or astrophysics.
• Hands-on use of first-order Palatini methods, tetrad/spin-connection formalism and higher-curvature corrections.
• Ability to derive, solve and interpret nonlinear ODE systems in gravitational or cosmological research.
• Familiarity with Pontryagin density, Chern–Simons modifications and Planck-normalized physical interpretation.
Deliverables
A traceable derivation, numerical solution, technical audit or adjudication with explicit assumptions and consistency checks.
Location and schedule
Remote; solver, auditor and adjudicator assignments follow specialist fit and experience. Assignment scope and timing are confirmed before work; no fixed weekly volume or duration is specified.
