Medical Communications Specialist
Job Description
Assess whether medical communications convey scientific evidence accurately and appropriately for their audience.
What you will do
• Develop tasks from education modules, advisory summaries, scientific slides, HCP materials and digital content.
• Evaluate scientific accuracy, fair balance, tone, messaging and visual logic for professional or patient audiences.
• Trace claims and graphics to literature, trial data and clinical summaries.
• Give structured critiques and develop content-quality rubrics.
Required background
• Ability to assess medical communication for scientific fidelity, clarity and audience suitability.
Preferred background
• At least five years in medical communications, medical education or medical affairs in an agency, biotechnology/pharmaceutical organization or consultancy.
• Experience producing slides, advisory summaries, education and web assets.
• Knowledge of medical-affairs strategy and communication compliance.
• Strong editorial judgment across text and visuals.
• An advanced life-science, pharmacy or medical degree, or equivalent industry expertise.
• Broad therapy-area experience, particularly oncology, neurology or cardiology.
Availability
• Remote work; agree the assignment schedule before starting.
Pay and engagement
$53–$84/hr
