Job Description
The accuracy of pharmaceutical information is non-negotiable, and AI must meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. Your specialized knowledge as a PharmD will be crucial in rigorously evaluating AI-generated drug information, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Rigorously evaluate AI-generated pharmaceutical information, including drug interactions, dosing recommendations, side effects, and contraindications.
Assess AI's ability to provide accurate and up-to-date information based on current clinical guidelines and pharmacopeias.
Identify and correct any inaccuracies, omissions, or potentially harmful advice in AI outputs.
Provide detailed feedback on AI's understanding of complex pharmacological principles and patient-specific considerations.
Contribute to the development of comprehensive drug knowledge bases and evaluation rubrics for AI.
Review AI-generated patient counseling points for clarity, completeness, and appropriateness.
Ideal Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent, with an active, unencumbered pharmacist license.
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital, retail, or managed care pharmacy setting.
Deep understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and medication therapy management.
Expertise in drug information resources (e.g., Lexicomp, Micromedex, UpToDate).
Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills in evaluating drug-related data.
Ability to clearly articulate complex pharmaceutical concepts and provide constructive feedback.
