Job Description
As AI begins to assist in dental diagnostics and treatment planning, the precision and clinical relevance of its outputs are paramount. Your expertise as a DDS/DMD will be critical in evaluating AI-generated recommendations, ensuring patient safety and optimal oral health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Rigorously evaluate AI-generated dental diagnostic outputs (e.g., caries detection, periodontal disease assessment from radiographs).
Assess AI-generated treatment recommendations for appropriateness, feasibility, and adherence to established dental protocols.
Identify and correct any inaccuracies, omissions, or potentially harmful advice in AI outputs related to oral health.
Provide detailed feedback on AI's understanding of dental anatomy, pathology, and restorative principles.
Contribute to the development of comprehensive dental knowledge bases and evaluation rubrics for AI.
Review AI-generated patient education materials for clarity, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.
Ideal Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with an active, unencumbered license.
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry or a dental specialty.
Deep understanding of oral pathology, periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Proficiency in interpreting dental radiographs (periapical, bitewing, panoramic, CBCT).
Meticulous attention to detail and strong diagnostic reasoning skills.
Ability to clearly articulate complex dental concepts and provide constructive feedback.
