macOS Developer Tool Workflow Reviewer
Job Description
IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate developer-tool workflows performed through a desktop IDE. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.
Work you will do
• Evaluate assigned actions in Android Studio, PyCharm or VS Code on macOS.
• Check that the assistant leaves the project and application in the intended state, with evidence for any errors or incomplete work.
• Document the workflow with required screenshots and clear observations; tool-specific expertise remains separate from general programming ability.
Required background and routes
• Professional hands-on use of Android Studio, PyCharm or Visual Studio Code on macOS. Have legitimate access to the relevant software and your own compatible computer when applying.
• Capture images exceeding 2.5 megapixels: use a sufficiently high-resolution display, or span two monitors each at least 1920×1080 into one capture. An individual 1080p image is insufficient. Hardware, licences and virtual machines are not supplied.
Deliverables
Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.
Location and schedule
Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. Availability planning can include 40 hours per week depending on the track. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.
Pay and working terms
$60 • $70/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
