M&A Transactions Attorney — Task-Based Review
Job Description
Evaluate simulated transaction negotiations and contract redlines. Use corporate-firm M&A experience to explain risk, assess drafting choices and build reliable criteria for grading AI output.
What you will do
• Complete negotiation and redlining exercises involving acquisition agreements.
• Assess legal reasoning in model responses and provide precise corrections.
• Develop objective scoring criteria for transaction-document tasks.
• Improve examples and review guidance with other specialists.
Required background
• An ABA-accredited JD and active admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• At least two years in a corporate law firm’s M&A department.
• Familiarity with asset-purchase and share-purchase agreements.
• Strong analytical writing and experience collaborating across disciplines.
Preferred background
• Private-equity work or prior exposure to legal technology, AI or training.
Availability
• Remote, part-time task work. Indicative effort is approximately 3.5 hours per task; this is not an hourly pay promise.
