Licensed Professional Counselor
Job Description
Create counseling cases and assess therapeutic reasoning, ethics and responses to risk.
What you will do
• Develop counseling scenarios involving clinical decisions and ethical dilemmas.
• Explain why reference responses use a particular therapeutic approach.
• Identify inaccuracies and risk-handling failures even when an answer appears empathetic.
Required background
• An active, unencumbered US LPC or LMHC license.
• At least two years of counseling after licensure.
• Experience in treatment planning, safety assessment and evidence-based therapeutic methods.
• Clear written English for explaining professional decisions and reasoning.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.
Preferred background
• Trauma, substance-use, couples or adolescent specialization.
• Crisis-line or community mental-health work.
• Clinical supervision or counselor education.
Location and eligibility
• Current US LPC or LMHC licensure is required.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous, with at least 10 hours available weekly and no fixed daily hours.
Pay and engagement
$69–$105/hr
