Job Description

Your profound understanding of legal reasoning, statutory interpretation, and multi-jurisdictional case law will be instrumental in evaluating and refining AI's ability to perform complex legal tasks, setting new standards for AI in the legal domain. This role is critical for advancing AI's capability to assist in sophisticated legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI outputs for sophisticated legal reasoning, including deductive and inductive reasoning in complex scenarios.
Assess AI's interpretation of statutes, regulations, and common law principles across various jurisdictions.
Critique AI-generated case law analyses, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential misapplications of precedent.
Design complex legal prompts and scenarios to stress-test AI's understanding of nuanced legal concepts and interdependencies.
Provide expert evaluations and detailed feedback to improve AI's ability to synthesize information, identify relevant legal issues, and formulate sound legal arguments.
Ideal Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
Minimum of 5• years of active legal practice experience, preferably in a research-intensive or appellate role.
Demonstrated expertise in statutory interpretation, common law analysis, and legal reasoning across multiple practice areas.
Deep familiarity with legal research methodologies and databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw, Fastcase).
Exceptional ability to identify logical fallacies, legal inconsistencies, and subtle errors in complex legal arguments.
Admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (active license preferred).
