Key Responsibilities
Generate diverse Tagalog text samples, encompassing various registers and conversational styles.
Evaluate AI-generated Tagalog responses for grammatical correctness, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
Identify and correct instances of awkward phrasing, semantic errors, or machine-like patterns in AI output.
Evaluate text data for specific linguistic features, including part-of-speech tagging and named entity recognition.
Provide expert feedback on AI's ability to handle code-switching between Tagalog and English in conversational contexts.
Contribute to the development of robust evaluation metrics for Tagalog NLP tasks.
Ideal Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog/Filipino with a deep understanding of regional variations.
Demonstrated experience in linguistic evaluation, content creation, or translation for AI/NLP projects.
Proficiency in identifying and explaining nuances of Tagalog grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
Familiarity with common Tagalog-English code-switching patterns and their sociolinguistic implications.
