Junior Transactional Attorney
Job Description
Build experience evaluating technology-contract work through simulated negotiations and redlining. Apply clear review standards and explain where a proposed response misses a risk or misreads an agreement.
What you will do
• Complete sample negotiations and contract mark-ups.
• Review AI answers to contract scenarios and give specific corrections.
• Apply scoring criteria consistently to legal reasoning and drafting.
• Help improve guidance and examples with other reviewers.
Required background
• One to three years of transactional experience in a firm or in-house role, including exposure to MSAs and NDAs.
• Clear written and spoken communication, analytical ability and close attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and explain legal issues constructively.
Preferred background
• Legal-technology, AI or training exposure.
• Corporate-law-firm experience or an internship involving M&A or fund formation.
Availability
• Remote, part-time work.
Pay and engagement
$74 • $95/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
