Pharmacy Technician Reasoning Evaluation
Job Description
Review prescription-processing and pharmacy-workflow examples for correct sequence and safe handling. Check sig interpretation, NDCs, days-supply calculations, adjudication and prior-authorization reasoning, and explain errors that would disrupt a real pharmacy queue.
Professional background
The annotation route accepts CPhT certification or equivalent technician experience. You need practical prescription, medication, pharmacy-operation and prior-authorization knowledge, with attention to drug interactions and safety. Clear writing, detail control and consistent use of annotation rules are required; the indicative workload is thirty to forty hours weekly. Specialty pharmacy, medication access, EHR platforms, quality review, AI annotation and 340B/assistance programs are advantages.
The workflow-review route requires an active PTCB/NHA CPhT or state technician registration, at least two years in pharmacy, and knowledge of NDCs, sig codes, days-supply calculations and claim adjudication. Clear English and ten hours weekly are required. Compounding under USP 797/800, mail-order/specialty work and software such as Epic Willow or PioneerRx are preferred.

Pay
$50 • $70/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
