Job Description
Assess legal writing for precision, structure, audience fit and support for its conclusions. Rewrite or evaluate explanations and documents, identify ambiguity and reasoning gaps, and provide editorial feedback that improves the communication of legal ideas.
Professional background
The preferred profile combines native-equivalent written English with a qualifying law degree earned in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand. Bring authorship of substantive legal documents and experience editing or supervising work by junior legal staff. You should judge whether writing suits a court, regulator, professional or general audience and explain revisions precisely. Digital review or annotation tools are useful; model evaluation and RLHF experience are advantages rather than prerequisites.
Working arrangements
This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.
Pay
$95 • $150/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
