Your specialized expertise in immigration law will be invaluable in evaluating and refining AI models, ensuring they provide accurate, up-to-date, and compassionate guidance to individuals and families seeking to navigate these critical pathways. This role is pivotal for developing AI that truly assists in life-changing legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI outputs related to immigration procedures, visa categories (e.g., H-1B, F-1, family-based), green card applications, and naturalization requirements for legal accuracy and practical applicability.
Design complex immigration scenarios and prompts to test AI's understanding of eligibility criteria, processing times, and potential pitfalls.
Identify instances where AI misinterprets immigration statutes, fails to identify relevant policies, or provides outdated or incorrect advice.
Evaluate USCIS forms, Department of State guidance, and immigration court decisions with expert insights.
Provide detailed feedback on AI's ability to synthesize individual circumstances with complex regulations and offer appropriate legal pathways.
Ideal Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 4• years of experience specializing in U.S. immigration law, representing individuals or businesses.
Deep expertise in various visa categories, adjustment of status, naturalization, and removal defense procedures.
Proven experience in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications with USCIS, NVC, and DOS.
Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex personal histories against intricate legal requirements.
Strong written communication skills to provide clear, actionable feedback and create detailed test cases.
