Your expertise as a Healthcare Law Expert will be pivotal in training AI to understand the intricate legal and ethical considerations governing the medical field, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring responsible innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive training datasets on HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, HITECH Act, and state-specific patient data protection laws.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy regarding medical malpractice liability, standard of care, and informed consent principles.
Create scenarios and legal analyses concerning pharmaceutical regulation, FDA approval processes, and drug pricing policies.
Assess AI's understanding of healthcare fraud and abuse statutes, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
Provide nuanced feedback on AI's ability to interpret complex healthcare contracts, physician employment agreements, and managed care regulations.
Identify and correct any AI misinterpretations of telehealth laws, licensure requirements, and cross-state practice rules.
Ideal Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
5• years of dedicated experience in healthcare law, ideally with a focus on regulatory compliance or litigation.
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and state health codes.
Experience with FDA regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical compliance is a significant plus.
Active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Certifications such as Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) are highly valued.
