Health Informatics Analyst
Job Description
The digital transformation of healthcare relies on robust information systems and intelligent data management. As a Health Informatics Analyst, your expertise will be crucial in training AI to understand EHR systems, clinical decision support, and health data standards, paving the way for more efficient and data-driven healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed training data on health IT infrastructure, Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), and clinical decision support (CDS) mechanisms.
Develop scenarios and questions related to health data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC), interoperability, and data security (HIPAA).
Craft detailed explanations of data analytics in healthcare, population health management, and the use of informatics for quality improvement.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, technical correctness, and practical applicability in health informatics contexts.
Provide expert feedback on AI's ability to interpret complex data flows, troubleshoot system issues, and explain regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of emerging health technologies, AI applications in informatics, and evolving data governance policies.
Ideal Qualifications
Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Health Informatics Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of EHR systems, clinical data warehouses, and health data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR).
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python with Pandas, R) and visualization software.
Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
