Job Description
The opportunity
Use foreign-exchange trading knowledge to create realistic training examples and assess AI reasoning about currency markets. Work connects pricing conventions, funding conditions and macroeconomic assumptions to a clearly defined currency exposure, using information available at the exercise’s stated time.
What you will work on
• Construct examples involving spot conversions, forward points and cross rates; check quotation direction, settlement assumptions and currency units throughout the calculation.
• Review explanations of carry and funding relationships, distinguishing an apparent pricing discrepancy from an executable arbitrage after transaction costs and constraints.
• Evaluate FX-option and volatility scenarios within your experience, checking payoff direction, hedging intuition and the assumptions behind a model’s conclusion.
• Assess how policy changes, economic releases or liquidity conditions could affect a specified currency position; identify unsupported causal claims and hindsight in AI answers.
Relevant qualifications
• Practical knowledge of FX spot, forwards, options and cross-rate relationships, supported by relevant trading, market-making or currency-risk experience.
• Ability to check market conventions and calculations, explain exposure clearly and distinguish a reasoned scenario from a prediction stated with unwarranted certainty.
Deliverables
Worked currency examples, annotated model responses and concise explanations of pricing or risk errors. Show inputs, conventions, calculations and alternative assumptions. Tasks remain within your demonstrated product expertise; assignments do not require expertise in every currency market.
Engagement and pay
Remote expert content and AI evaluation work. Advertised pay: $100 – $180/hr USD. The agreed rate, assignment scope, schedule and expected hours will be confirmed before work starts. Use public, synthetic or explicitly authorized material. Keep employer information and client records confidential; assignments do not include live client transactions.
