Corporate Finance and FP&A Analyst
Job Description
Build forecast models and explain how accounting and tax decisions affect business performance and financial statements.
What you will do
• Develop detailed models to answer corporate-finance and planning questions.
• Translate accounting and tax assumptions into projected profit and loss, cash flow and balance-sheet movements.
• Model issues such as net operating losses, deferred-tax assets and operating leases.
• Explain the assumptions and calculations behind the forecast.
Required background
• One to three years of corporate-finance or FP&A experience.
• Practical financial-modeling and accounting knowledge.
Availability
• Remote, asynchronous assignments, typically two to three weeks with an expected 10–20 hours per week.
Pay and engagement
Per assignment; est. $63–$105/hour
Payment is an agreed assignment fee, not payment for hours worked.
The quoted $63–$105/hour is an estimated equivalent based on the assignment scope and expected effort; actual earnings per hour depend on time taken.
