Commodities Trading Expert
We are seeking a Commodities Trading Expert to critically evaluate AI-generated market predictions and trading strategies across various commodity classes. Your extensive experience in physical and financial commodities markets will be vital in refining AI's ability to interpret complex data, identify arbitrage opportunities, and manage risk in real-time trading scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate AI-generated price forecasts for key commodities (e.g., Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Gold, Corn, Copper).
Assess AI-designed trading strategies, including spread trading, arbitrage, and hedging techniques, for feasibility and profitability.
Provide expert feedback on AI's interpretation of fundamental drivers (e.g., supply/demand reports, geopolitical events, weather patterns).
Evaluate AI's use of technical analysis indicators (e.g., moving averages, RSI, Bollinger Bands) in commodities trading.
Refine AI's understanding of futures, options, and other derivatives contracts specific to commodities markets.
Identify and correct any inaccuracies in AI's risk management recommendations, including position sizing and stop-loss placements.
Ideal Qualifications
5• years of direct experience in commodities trading, risk management, or market analysis (e.g., energy, metals, agriculture).
Demonstrable track record of successful trading strategies or market insights.
Proficiency with trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon) and market data providers.
Strong understanding of global macroeconomic factors influencing commodity prices.
Experience with quantitative analysis and statistical modeling applied to financial markets.
Ability to articulate complex market dynamics and trading principles clearly.
