Federal Litigation and Motion Specialist
Job Description
Evaluate the quality of AI-written advocacy using a proven federal civil-litigation record. Focus on how arguments, authority and facts combine to persuade a judge, beyond simply reaching a correct legal conclusion.
What you will do
• Draft simulated motions, briefs and litigation-strategy responses.
• Critique AI advocacy for framing, use of authority, organisation and persuasive judgment.
• Develop objective scoring criteria and examples of stronger legal argument.
• Improve review guidelines with research and product colleagues.
Required background
• Substantial federal civil-litigation experience covering motions, briefing and strategy.
• At least three successful federal civil motions, supported by court orders or docket evidence.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical judgment and ability to turn criticism into actionable feedback.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines.
Preferred background
• Legal-technology, AI or training experience.
• Experience with dismissal, summary-judgment and discovery motions.
Availability
• Remote, part-time engagement.
Pay and engagement
$158 • $315/hr
All amounts are in USD. The rate, task scope and schedule are agreed before work begins.
