Job Description
In an age of information overload, the ability to discern truth from falsehood is paramount. As a Fact-Checking Analyst, you will serve as a critical guardian of AI's integrity, meticulously verifying factual claims and identifying misinformation to ensure that AI models provide reliable and trustworthy information to users.
Key Responsibilities
Rigorously verify factual statements and claims made by AI models across a wide range of topics.
Cross-reference information using multiple reputable and diverse sources, including academic journals, government data, and established news organizations.
Identify and flag misinformation, disinformation, logical fallacies, and unsubstantiated assertions in AI outputs.
Provide clear, evidence-based explanations for corrections and suggest improvements for AI's reasoning and sourcing.
Develop comprehensive guidelines and examples for AI to improve its fact-checking capabilities.
Stay updated on current events, scientific discoveries, and common areas of misinformation to proactively train AI.
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Library Science, Research, or a field requiring strong analytical skills.
2• years of experience in professional fact-checking, investigative journalism, or academic research.
Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to evaluate source credibility and bias.
Proficiency in advanced search techniques and familiarity with various types of information sources.
Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and objectivity.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.
