The opportunity
IXO is seeking sustainable-finance specialists to assess how AI connects environmental and social considerations with financial analysis. The work emphasizes precise definitions, credible evidence and the difference between an intended outcome and a demonstrated result.
What you will work on
• Build cases explaining sustainability-linked financial instruments, including how stated objectives and performance measures relate to their economic terms.
• Review AI interpretations of disclosure frameworks, identifying the jurisdiction, reporting period and scope assumed in each exercise.
• Assess impact-measurement examples for unclear baselines, inconsistent boundaries or claims that extend beyond the available data.
• Compare financial and sustainability arguments in a proposed analysis, explaining where a tradeoff, uncertainty or missing assumption matters.
• Create examples that distinguish substantive evidence from unsupported green claims, and explain what additional information would strengthen a conclusion.
Relevant experience and qualifications
• Highlight relevant work in sustainable finance, ESG analysis, sustainability-linked instruments, disclosures or impact measurement.
• Describe the frameworks, markets and reporting contexts you know, with an emphasis on interpreting their requirements accurately.
• Show your ability to assess competing claims and communicate uncertainty in plain language, with a clear distinction between financial and sustainability evidence.
Deliverables
Annotated disclosure examples, instrument-comparison cases, impact-measurement checks and reference answers with clear evaluation criteria. Each work product should identify its evidence and explain what can and cannot be concluded from it. Assignments are for AI research and training rather than certifying an organization’s compliance or the sustainability of a live investment.
Engagement and pay
This is remote, paid expert work for AI training and evaluation. The advertised rate is $80 – $140/hr USD. Your agreed rate, assignment scope, schedule and expected workload will be confirmed before work begins.
