Environmental Science and Engineering Specialist
Job Description
Evaluate environmental analysis and demonstrate sound assessment, compliance and remediation practice.
What you will do
• Review AI site assessments, permitting/compliance analysis, remediation designs, air/water modeling and impact studies.
• Produce examples of environmental assessment and regulatory workflows.
• Rank and label responses against environmental standards, identifying technical or regulatory errors.
Required background
• A relevant degree, for example environmental science/engineering, geology or hydrology.
• At least two years of professional environmental assessment, permitting, compliance, remediation or modeling.
• Strong written communication.
Preferred background
• PE, PG or CHMM credentials.
• NEPA, CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Air Act or Clean Water Act work.
• AERMOD, MODFLOW, ArcGIS or comparable modeling/GIS tools.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous, with working hours arranged independently.
Pay and engagement
$105/hr
