Job Description
Building a robust AI requires a strong foundation, especially in complex domains like finance. As an Entry Level Finance Expert, you will play a foundational role in teaching AI the core principles of accounting, financial statements, and valuation fundamentals, ensuring it develops a solid base for more advanced financial reasoning.
Key Responsibilities
Create clear and accurate training data explaining basic accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, accrual vs. cash basis).
Evaluate financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) to highlight key line items and relationships for AI.
Develop scenarios and examples illustrating fundamental valuation concepts like P/E ratio, market capitalization, and book value.
Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy in defining financial terms, performing simple calculations, and identifying basic financial concepts.
Identify and correct any misunderstandings or misinterpretations by AI regarding the structure and purpose of financial reports.
Refine AI's ability to explain introductory finance topics in an accessible and unambiguous manner.
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
0-2 years of experience in a finance-related role, internships included.
Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with basic financial concepts and terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret simple financial data.
