Job Description
In emergency medicine, rapid, accurate decision-making is paramount. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, your ability to quickly assess, diagnose, and manage acute conditions under pressure will be vital in training AI to become a reliable assistant in critical care scenarios, enhancing efficiency and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated diagnostic assessments, treatment recommendations, and triage protocols for emergency presentations (e.g., chest pain, stroke, trauma, sepsis).
Assess the clinical accuracy, urgency, and safety of AI outputs, ensuring alignment with ACLS/ATLS/PALS guidelines and emergency department best practices.
Provide detailed, actionable feedback on AI's ability to prioritize interventions, manage critical airways, and interpret emergent diagnostic tests.
Develop complex, time-sensitive clinical scenarios (e.g., polytrauma, anaphylaxis, status epilepticus) to challenge AI's reasoning in acute settings.
Identify and correct factual errors, misinterpretations of vital signs, or inappropriate management strategies in AI's emergency medicine content.
Contribute to the creation of gold-standard responses for common and rare emergency presentations.
Ideal Qualifications
MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
Active, unrestricted medical license (any US state).
Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience in an emergency department setting.
Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications.
Expertise in rapid assessment, differential diagnosis, and acute care management.
Strong ability to think critically under pressure and provide clear, concise feedback.
