Electrical Engineering Specialist
Job Description
Write electrical-engineering evaluation problems and explain whether proposed solutions are technically sound.
What you will do
• Develop realistic electrical design and analysis cases.
• Build reference answers that make calculations and engineering choices clear.
• Review AI outputs for correctness and standards compliance, flagging unsafe or impractical designs.
Required background
• A degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least two years of professional electrical-engineering experience.
• Depth in power systems, embedded hardware, circuit design or another electrical-engineering specialty.
• Clear written English and at least 10 hours available weekly.
Preferred background
• PE licensure or FE certification.
• Experience spanning design and testing.
• Advanced simulation use, for example SPICE or MATLAB.
Availability
• Remote and asynchronous; at least 10 hours of availability each week, with working times arranged independently.
Pay and engagement
$105–$132/hr
