As an E-commerce Data Analyst, you will be pivotal in training AI to become an expert in digital commerce. You'll create and evaluate data related to product categorization, customer journeys, pricing strategies, and market trends, directly influencing how AI understands and interacts with the online shopping world.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and categorize product data, ensuring accurate classification across diverse e-commerce taxonomies.
Create training data sets that illustrate complex customer shopping behaviors, purchase funnels, and conversion patterns.
Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions, recommendations, and pricing strategies for accuracy and effectiveness.
Identify and evaluate key e-commerce metrics, such as average order value, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
Provide detailed feedback on AI's ability to understand market trends, competitive pricing, and inventory management.
Develop scenarios and test cases for AI to analyze supply chain disruptions and demand forecasting in e-commerce.
Ideal Qualifications
3• years of experience in E-commerce Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Product Management within retail.
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, customer segmentation, and online merchandising strategies.
Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python (Pandas).
Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable training data.
Familiarity with A/B testing and personalization strategies in e-commerce.
