Job Description
The efficiency of legal processes is increasingly reliant on AI's ability to accurately process and understand vast amounts of documentation. As a Document Review Specialist, you are essential in refining AI's precision in legal document analysis, ensuring that its outputs meet the rigorous standards required for due diligence, eDiscovery, and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
Thoroughly review and evaluate AI-generated summaries and analyses of legal documents (e.g., contracts, pleadings, discovery responses).
Verify the accuracy of AI's identification of key clauses, parties, dates, and legal concepts within various document types.
Provide detailed feedback to improve AI's ability to flag privileged, confidential, or responsive information for eDiscovery purposes.
Assess AI's adherence to specific formatting guidelines and legal citation standards (e.g., Bluebook, ALWD).
Identify and correct instances where AI misinterprets context, intent, or legal implications within complex documents.
Contribute to the development of robust training datasets for AI models focused on legal document classification and extraction.
Ideal Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or a paralegal certificate with extensive legal document review experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in legal document review, eDiscovery, or litigation support.
Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw) and legal tech tools.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with various legal document types across different practice areas (corporate, litigation, real estate).
Ability to work efficiently and maintain high quality standards under project deadlines.
