Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Create cloud infrastructure cases that test whether an AI design would be secure, reliable and cost-effective in practice.
What you will do
• Write scenarios spanning architecture, automation and incident response.
• Explain the reasoning behind reference infrastructure decisions.
• Assess proposed solutions for correctness, security and cost.
• Flag configurations that would fail under real operating conditions or create unnecessary spending.
Required background
• At least 2 years of professional AWS, Azure or GCP engineering.
• Practical infrastructure-as-code work in Terraform, CloudFormation or comparable tooling.
• Depth in networking, containers, serverless or cost optimization.
• Clear English documentation and at least 10 hours of weekly availability.
Preferred background
• AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator or GCP Professional certification.
• Kubernetes and orchestration expertise.
• Multi-cloud work or large migrations.
Location and eligibility
• Remote work; country restrictions are not stated.
Availability
• Remote asynchronous work, minimum 10 hours per week.
Pay and engagement
$90 • $174/hr
USD hourly compensation. The applicable rate and agreed work scope are confirmed before work begins.
