DevOps / IaC Engineer
Job Description
The future of AI relies on robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure. As a DevOps / IaC Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping how AI models learn to build and manage the very environments they operate within, translating complex infrastructure logic into digestible training data.
Why This Role Matters
Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code is critical for teaching AI systems to understand, generate, and optimize cloud deployments. By meticulously reviewing and creating training data, you'll enable AI to master the nuances of declarative infrastructure, paving the way for truly autonomous and resilient AI operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine training examples for Terraform configurations, focusing on state management, module creation, and provider interactions.
Evaluate and generate Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, ensuring adherence to best practices for idempotency and security.
Craft CloudFormation templates and nested stacks, detailing resource dependencies and deployment strategies for AWS services.
Analyze and correct AI-generated infrastructure code, providing detailed explanations for improvements in scalability, cost-efficiency, and fault tolerance.
Create comprehensive documentation and tutorials on infrastructure automation patterns for AI consumption.
Identify and categorize common IaC anti-patterns and provide corrective training data for AI models.
Ideal Qualifications
Proven experience with Terraform, including HCL syntax, module development, and remote state backends.
Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) and their integration with IaC tools.
Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and orchestration, including Jinja2 templating.
Familiarity with CloudFormation, including custom resources and intrinsic functions.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
Strong analytical skills to dissect complex infrastructure problems and translate them into clear, actionable training data.
